LE BOUM!
Slightly bonkers French music trio from London, Nice and Lyon. PAY WHAT YOU FEEL
“Jacques Brel tries rap in a Michel Legrand mood as performed by John Shuttleworth under the influence of Charles Mingus, Brillant.” - The Guardian
Les Boum! have been performing their unauthorized melange of French culture and English panache for almost three decades. Classic chansons from Brel to Gainsbourg to Trenet to Piaf are covered in irreverent, energetic, romantic, and loving style. Instrumental virtuosity abounds whilst fun-filled slap-stick moments form a large part of this band’s irrepressible charm.
