RUTTER'S MAGNIFICAT, FESTIVE MUSIC AND CAROLS CELEBRATING MARY AT CHRISTMAS

Capture the spirit of Christmas with this evening of music celebrating Mary with a performance of her ancient song ‘the Magnificat’ set to music by John Rutter. Mary is also at the heart of the wonderful selection of carols including 'Mother of God, Here I Stand', by John Tavener, and the Capriol will perform music from Hely-Hutchinson’s ‘A Carol Symphony’.

Directed by Andrew Hopwood and Jonathan Trim and accompanied by Julian Elloway.

All are welcome to this joyful and festive evening as Christmas draws near.
